Solving inception ( the movie )?

Okay so i just watched inception, and i believe i may have it all figured out, just wanting to know if anyone else got this from the movie or what. From what I could tell it was all just a dream, that's why it starts off with him in the beginning being on the beach ( as he said when your dreaming you never know how you got there ) then him & his wife go back after awhile to reality, where they grow old together and she (?) dies.. then he goes back into a dream world where his confuses it for reality. Then in the end you learn that he is still dreaming and that is how he is able to see his children ( his totem keeps spinning ) sorry if this seems a little jumbled up but its very very late where i am and kind of hard to organize my thoughts. did anyone else get this from the film? if not what did YOU get from it.
