Victims, crimes & prosecution??? PLEASE HELP!?

Need some help. If someone was jailed for molestation over a year ago (soon to be released), but just recently it the child victim revealed that this person had video taped the acts, is there anything that can be done by law to see to it this guy is further investigated and locked back up? If so, what needs to be done? Will it be a long drawn-out emotional process for the victim and parents? Can he be charged with more crimes simply by providing this information to the authorities? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I need to discuss this with a friend but I need to have some knowledge of what the law can do so I can offer some guidance as this is a tough situation. Any information is greatly appreciated!
