How did people used to live with chronic nasal allergies?

Well that is a good question I am not sure. But I do have allergies both respiratory and food allergies. Wherever I go that has dust, trees, pollen, mold, weeds, and gr I get really sick. For my case I had to be treated with medications Clairitin and the rest of the pills never worked for me. However a nasal spray called Nasonex or another one called Flonase did stop my nasal allergies for 2 years and still going till now. Because what those sprays do is it shrinks the blood vessels in the nose allowing u to breath meaning it decongest the nose. Also it does something to stop the irritation as well which is mainly the cause of allergic rhinitis or hay fever. So if you have that I would recommend Flonase or Nasonex. As for food allergens I just avoid them.
