Is it a sign of aging?

When old memories start spontaneously popping into your head. I just turned 42, and I've noticed for the past few months things I haven't thought about since I was a kid just suddenly manifesting in my mind unbidden. Old toys, TV shows, people I knew, etc. Kinda scary, though one often finds comfort in old memories, I guess...
