What is the job like of a cabinet finisher or Finish Painter I related to air crafts?

There is a job opportunity near my town for a position as a Finish Painter I. What I would be doing is being responsible for the staining and painting of cabinetry pieces for customer's aircraft. What is the job like of a cabinetry painter related to air crafts? Is it easy to learn and do? I have no experience in painting and no knowledge of mixing paints, so is this a job where I can learn a skill, or would I need experience going into the job? The company is APA Services out of Greensboro, NC, and the required experience is Not Applicable. I'm in need of extra work, so I thought how hard can painting be.
