Is there a way to edit your inventory in Minecraft if you aren't the Server Admin?

Is there a program that you can download that will enable you to edit you're inventory, or spawn items, even if you aren't the server admin? The admins on my server have declared total war, and seem to be the only ones who have TNT, so im simply interested in a little payback :)
